The other day, I was talking with a good friend/client when she asked about how I keep myself from getting “burnt out”.  And well, since I have two+ sessions a day, I’d say that is a pretty viable question.  The answer, though, is simple.  I find inspiration in simple everyday things.  Things like nature, music, trees, pretty things, vintage things, precious things, small things… and the list continues.  I could pretend that I live a blissful life, seeing beautifully perfect things everywhere I look.  But that wouldn’t be real, would it? Actually, the place where I find the most inspiration is in the imperfections.  Finding beauty in the things that others may have overlooked… that’s where my inspiration comes.  Being welcomed into precious, personal, and sometimes emotional moments in my client’s lives… well, that’s where my inspiration lies.  And being the person that I am in my heart.  That’s where my inspiration flourishes.

Smiles and lots of love,

Taylor

I have a favorite place at Migis Lodge . I dieovcsred it about 15 years ago when I worked at Migis. There is a very big rock right down at the water just to the left of the staff dock, on the lakeside face of the rock is a naturally carved out seat. That seat is perfect for sitting with your legs tangling in the water. I would love to take a look and make sure it it still there!Jess
