*awkward silence*

So uhh… long time no blog.  I’m doing a pretty cruddy job of keep up with my New Year’s resolution of blogging 3+ times a week and I apologize for that.  I think I was a little in over my head when I made that resolution! Between school and editing, I rarely have time to even sleep (or eat, or shower, or umm, BREATH).  Ahem, nevertheless, I had the pleasure of photographing my sweet little cousin, Charlee, and I have a few to share with you!

When I first met this girl, she was just over 2 pounds.  At the time, I was struggling with the decision of whether I wanted to go to school to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or pursue my photography career.  I will always thank Charlee for making my decision clear.  I have so much respect for those nurses, because it takes a very special person to be able to work with those teeny tiny little humans.  After becoming quite light-headed watching a nurse adjust one of Charlee’s tubes, I understood my path.  I’ve been following it ever since.

I dream of the day that I can wake up, grab my camera, and go at it.  Soon enough, I’ll have it all.  My camera and my sweet clients.  That’s all I want.  Okay, that’s not entirely true… I also want my amazing faith, a yummy cup of coffee, and Lindor milk truffles.  Oh, and a pair of jeans that make my butt look good.  But, that’s it.

xoxo,

Taylor

Taylor, my heart stopped with the thought of you walking away from photography as you would never have time as a nurse. My thoughts raced where would her clients go, her work is a gift and she is so special. But gosh shed make an amazing nurse too. God have given you the sweetest spirit. I hear it it your words and it blesses my heart. I have a daughter and she also has a sweet spirit. One day God willing our paths will meet ♡ from Canada
