October is here!  It’s actually surreal to me.  I remember last Fall as if it were yesterday.  Last year seems so close and yet, worlds away.  So much has changed since then.  Change…

 Today, Sammi and I transformed my office into a prop room.  It was used as an office for about 5 seconds and still, the change was overwhelming to me.  All of the props that were pushed again the wall are now neatly organized in my former office.  I could actually feel my heart rate increase when I saw my studio’s empty “prop wall”.  Change isn’t something that I do well.

So… last Fall, if my little heart had known what kind of changes I had coming in the next year… Whew. Who knows. Old studio, new studio, old school, new school, old friends, new friends.  The thing about change though… it never leaves you in a place you shouldn’t be.  Sure, change can be daunting.  When you’re standing there, staring at the empty wall, it’s terrifying.  But… that’s the beauty of change.  It never leaves you empty.  After every change, a new SOMETHING is granted to you.  It’s a blessing.  I’m learning to accept it as just that.
