When I met Katelyn, my first impression was her amazing bubbly personality and her gorgeous eyes. I didn’t meet Adam until the date of their engagement session, but by the way Katelyn spoke of him, I knew he was perfect for her. Like with all of my couples, I asked Katelyn how they met. She told me that they met at a ski lodge… and from that moment on, I knew where we’d be shooting their engagement pictures.

There was snow on the ground on the day of their engagement session, just as I’d hoped. But… we weren’t hoping for the negative 4 degree windchill to be paired with that snow! I mean, it was COLD. Red noses, see-your-breath, frozen fingers cold… They were such troopers though, and as I looking through their images for the first time after their session, I couldn’t help but to smile at the sweet things I hadn’t seen while shooting: the way they stuck their hands in each other’s pockets, the way Adam instantly held Katelyn close, and the way he kissed her head. I mean, I love all love stories, but I’m a sucker for ones like this. And I can’t wait to see what their future holds. 🙂
