Thanks to one of my favorite bloggers, Ashley Campbell, this idea has been stuck in my head for the past few days… in the best way possible.

Learning to drink my coffee with two hands.

Think about that.

I’m doing my very best to truly enjoy every moment in my life… especially the simple moments. My art teacher in high school used to always say, “savor the moment”. Well, that’s what drinking your coffee with two hands is all about. Today, there was a slew of other things that my hands could’ve been doing: editing photos, recording expenses, burning discs, or signing releases, but instead, I sat back and enjoyed that yummy Bailiwicks drink from a sweet friend with BOTH hands. After all, those tasks will still be there when the cup is empty.

So yeah… I’m learning to truly savor every bit of my life… bits I won’t get back.
